FROM DISCOVERY TO VALIDATION

Understand the system.
Investigate the weakness.

Connect what your game exposes with how it behaves.
Build an investigation from captured evidence,
then compare results after a change.

01

Map the surface

Identify client-visible interfaces, scripts, and gameplay systems. Combine structural context with observed activity to understand where deeper review belongs.

02

Connect the evidence

Review game-specific hypotheses alongside their source observations. Use focused tests to examine behavior, with a clear record of what ran and what needs investigation.

03

Validate the change

Return to the same test scope after an update. Compare observations, preserve earlier evidence, and track whether the behavior behind a finding has changed.

AREAS OF FOCUS

Security across
your game’s systems.

Look at the interfaces your game exposes, the assumptions it makes about the client, and the behavior those systems produce. Aegis brings that context into one investigation.

01

Attack-surface analysis

Map client-visible interfaces, scripts, and interactive systems.

02

Client–server trust

Review observed interactions and assumptions about client-controlled state.

03

Runtime resilience

Examine how gameplay systems respond during focused, scoped tests.

04

Code-informed investigation

Connect available script evidence with game-specific hypotheses for review.

05

Regression validation

Compare repeatable test results across game revisions.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Inside an Aegis assessment.

The context behind the results.

What does Aegis bring to a security review?+

Aegis connects a map of client-visible systems, observed runtime activity, available script evidence, and focused test results. Your studio can investigate potential weaknesses with context from the actual game and retain that evidence through follow-up reviews.

What areas does an assessment cover?+

The focus is attack-surface analysis, client–server trust, runtime resilience, code-informed investigation, and regression validation. Coverage depends on what the environment exposes and which tests are selected. Reports identify available evidence and gaps in coverage.

How does analysis become a finding?+

Captured observations support game-specific hypotheses for review. Executed tests produce a separate record of expected and observed behavior. Your team validates significance against the intended design and server-side evidence before treating a lead as confirmed impact.

Does Aegis automatically execute every investigation idea?+

No. Interface and script analysis can produce review-only hypotheses. Automated execution is limited to supported tests within the selected scope. Missing evidence stays inconclusive, and a completed assessment does not certify the entire game as secure.

How do we check a fix?+

Retest the relevant finding against a comparable scope and updated revision. Aegis preserves the original observations and follow-up evidence so your team can review what changed without losing the history.
